3 Cheat Play Station

By Timothy Cole

Can I tell if my husband or wife (boyfriend or girlfriend) islikely to cheat?

Infidelity is a real problem. Approximately, 30% to 50% of allmarried people will cheat on a spouse at some point during theirmarriage and affairs are common among dating partners as well.

Unfortunately, these numbers are on the conservative side. For adetailed explaination of why so many people cheat, we recommendreading the The Myth of Monogamy by David Barash and JudithLipton.

And when it comes to infidelity men and women tend to be alittle different, so we have developed two online riskassessment tools:

First, we developed an interactive questionnaire for women touse when evaluating the "cheating potential" of a boyfriend orhusband.

We also developed a questionnaire for men to use when evaluatingthe "cheating potential" of a girlfriend or wife.

How does our questionnaire work?

The information you provide about your romantic partner will becompared against our profile of people who cheat. Based on thiscomparison we can tell you how closely your partner matches theprofile of someone who is likely to cheat.

We are not claiming to make a specific prediction about yourpartner's behavior, instead we are just providing an estimate ofthe potential risk.

How accurate is the risk assessment?

At this time we are still compiling our profile. Our resultswill become more accurate as we collect more data from peoplewho have cheated.

If everything goes according to plan, we hope to publish therevised version of our risk assessment questionnaire on Nov.15th. 2005.

Your participation is very useful to us (please tell othersabout it too).
